I'M BACK!!
Hope you're all well and enjoying 2011.
My trip was a blast, I went with my friend Ali, a super travel buddy who I met in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in 2009 when we were both volunteering at CHA Orphanage and were roomies for two months. Our trip started in the south of Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh) making our way to the north, via sleeping buses. Along the way, we ate and ate, rode bikes, went squid fishing and kayaking in Ha Long Bay, did a cooking class in Hanoi, then headed to the north of Laos (Luang Prabang). Making our way to the south of Laos we did a 3-day Katang trail trek with village homestays and further south to Si Phan Don (Four Thousand Islands) PRETTY!. We made our way to Siem Reap (discovered some shopping gems we missed last time we were there) and back to Phnom Penh to visit CHA Orphanage who now have 70+ children! Still the coolest kids I've ever met, I miss them very much :(
So, that's my trip in a nutshell. I hope the start of 2011 has been wonderful for you all! I look forward to getting back into the groove of things (design-blogging-wise) in the next few days!
WARNING!! The next few posts will be maxed out with photos :)
p.s. I am also having a sale in my shop and 'til the end of March everything is 25% when you use the code: MARCH11
